FAQ

Questions, answered properly.

Including the awkward ones. Where the honest answer is conditional, the condition is named rather than hidden behind 'it depends'.

01 / Scope & fit

What does Aitishtech do?

Aitishtech is an SAP supply chain execution consultancy. We implement, migrate, roll out, integrate and support four SAP modules: Transportation Management (TM), Extended Warehouse Management (EWM), Global Trade Services (GTS) and Business Network for Logistics (BN4L). We are headquartered in Bengaluru, India and work with clients worldwide.

Why only four modules?

Because supply chain execution is a specialism, not a category. TM, EWM, GTS and BN4L share the same problem space — physical goods moving under commercial and regulatory constraint — and the same integration surface. A consultancy that also claims depth in finance, HR and CRM has a sales list, not a specialism.

Do you work with companies outside India?

Yes. Aitishtech works with clients internationally and most supply chain execution programmes we run span more than one country. We are headquartered in Bengaluru and deliver both remotely and on site; the balance of the two, and any on-site presence in your region, is agreed per programme. Customs filing and labelling requirements are national, so multi-country scope is planned as a shared template plus a documented local delta for each country.

How do you handle time zones on an international engagement?

Our core hours are 09:00–18:30 IST (UTC+5:30), which overlaps the European morning and the Asia-Pacific afternoon. For engagements in the Americas, or where a warehouse runs outside our core hours, we agree a shifted or split-cover working pattern as part of the engagement rather than leaving overlap to chance. Managed support arrangements can extend to follow-the-sun cover aligned to your operating hours.

Are you an SAP partner?

No. Aitishtech is an independent SAP consultancy and is not part of SAP's partner programme. We do not resell SAP licences and we earn nothing from what you buy, so our advice on scope, module choice and deployment model carries no commercial incentive attached to it. Licences are bought directly from SAP or through your existing reseller; we work on the implementation, migration and support.

02 / How we work

What engagement models do you offer?

Three: fixed-scope project delivery for implementations, migrations and rollouts; ongoing managed application support with agreed response commitments; and specialist resourcing where named consultants join your existing programme team.

Can you take over a project that is already in trouble?

Yes, and it is a common way engagements start. The first step is a short assessment — what has actually been built, what has been decided but not documented, and what the realistic path to go-live is — delivered as a written position before any recovery work is committed.

Will our own team be able to support the system afterwards?

That is an explicit deliverable rather than a hope. Configuration is documented in terms your team can act on, knowledge transfer is scheduled during the build rather than compressed into the final week, and we consider an engagement unfinished if our departure creates a support dependency.

How do you price work?

Against the engagement model rather than a rate card. Fixed-scope delivery — an implementation, a migration, a country rollout — is quoted as a piece of work once the scope is agreed. Managed support runs as an ongoing arrangement against defined response commitments. Specialist resourcing is priced per named consultant for the window they are needed. We quote per engagement rather than publishing rates, because the variables that actually move the number are scope-specific: the count of distinct charge models in a TM build, or the number of countries in a customs rollout.

03 / Getting started

What is the fastest way to get a useful answer from you?

Send the specific problem rather than a general enquiry. "Our EWM wave release is taking 40 minutes at peak" or "we need SAP TM live in two countries by Q3" gets a substantive reply; "please send your capabilities deck" gets a deck. You can reach us at sales@aitishtech.com or +91 63600 21176.

What information should we have ready?

Your current SAP release and whether you are on ECC or S/4HANA; which execution modules are live today; the sites or countries in scope; and any fixed date you are working towards. That is enough for a first conversation to be concrete.

Module questions

Technical answers live with the module.

Embedded versus decentralised, migration runways, integration limits — each module page carries its own set.

If a question is missing from this page it is usually because nobody has asked it yet. Send it and, if it is generally useful, it will end up here.
