SAP Transportation Management
Plan, tender, execute and settle freight inside SAP — turning delivery demand into optimised freight orders, carrier assignments and settlement documents.
Explore TMSAP Supply Chain Execution
We build, migrate and run the four SAP modules that actually move product — TM, EWM, GTS and BN4L. No adjacent practice areas, no borrowed expertise.
Applying robust and dynamic engineering techniques.
Position
Supply chain execution is a specialism, not a category. The four modules we work in share one problem space — physical goods moving under commercial and regulatory constraint — and one integration surface. A consultancy that also claims depth in finance, HR and CRM has a sales list.
01 / Modules
Each one is a full practice — configuration, integration, migration and support. Not a logo on a capability slide.

Explore TMRun the warehouse at bin and handling-unit level: inbound, putaway, waves, picking, RF execution, and automation control through the Material Flow System.
Explore EWMScreen parties, enforce licences and file customs declarations from inside the transaction — with preferential origin determination where the duty saving is real.
Explore GTSConnect shippers, carriers and partners on one network for freight collaboration, shared track-and-trace visibility and cross-party material traceability.
Explore BN4L02 / Method
Every SAP consultancy prints the same five-box delivery lifecycle. It describes a project plan, not a method. These are the things we actually do differently.
Before a workshop, before a blueprint. You cannot design a putaway strategy from a process diagram, and you cannot design a transport plan without meeting the planner who overrides it.
Every deviation from standard is a cost that recurs at every upgrade. We make that trade explicit at decision time, with the run cost attached, rather than discovering it in year two.
An RF transaction that works on a laptop browser and fails on a cold-store scanner is not tested. Execution testing happens on the hardware, in the environment, with the people.
Stock freeze, count, convert, reconcile, resume — with a rehearsed rollback. The plan is written and dry-run long before the weekend it is needed.
Documentation your own staff can act on, and configuration they can explain. If our leaving creates a support dependency, the engagement was not finished.
03 / Delivery
Greenfield builds, scoped to what the operation can absorb.
02Moving execution off legacy without stopping the operation.
03A template that survives contact with the second country.
04Application support that reduces its own ticket volume.
05The interfaces where supply chain programmes actually break.
06Named consultants into your programme, not CVs into a pool.

05 / Insights
SAP GTS compliance projects are usually scoped as configuration. The configuration is the easy half — the half that determines whether the control is real is the operating model behind it.
SAP BN4LTrack-and-trace programmes rarely fail on technology. They stall at 40% carrier coverage, which is the coverage level at which nobody trusts the data and everybody keeps phoning.
SAP TMTransportation programmes are sold on optimisation savings and delivered as planning projects. The money is usually in charge management, which is also the part most likely to be under-scoped.
Embedded SAP TM runs inside the same S/4HANA system as ERP, sharing master data and eliminating most integration. Standalone (sidecar) SAP TM runs as a separate system connected to one or more ERP backends. Embedded lowers run cost and is the common default for a single-instance landscape; standalone is chosen for multi-ERP networks, independent release cycles, or heavy optimisation workloads that warrant dedicated capacity.
SAP WM (LE-WM) is the classic warehouse module inside ERP, managing stock at storage-bin level with a comparatively simple process model. SAP EWM is the successor product, with handling-unit management, wave and labour management, RF and automation (MFS) control, yard management, and a far richer strategy framework. SAP has confirmed WM is not the long-term target architecture, so any significant new warehouse investment should be planned on EWM.
SAP GTS performs trade compliance and customs functions against SAP transactions: it screens business partners against sanctioned party lists, applies embargo and export licence controls, blocks non-compliant documents before they progress, produces import and export customs declarations, and determines preferential origin for duty relief. It sits alongside ERP and checks sales, purchasing, delivery and billing documents as they are created.
SAP Business Network for Logistics (BN4L) is a multi-party network that connects shippers with carriers and logistics service providers. Its main capabilities are Freight Collaboration for tendering and booking with carriers, Global Track and Trace for shared shipment visibility and ETA, and Material Traceability for batch and serial-level tracking across partners.
Next step
Not a capabilities request — the constraint you are up against. A wave that will not release in time, a rollout country that keeps slipping, a screening queue nobody owns. That gets a useful answer back.
